ALBALAT in motion

2025
Interactive edition

This project for Albalat offers a sensitive, almost magical reading of the graffiti, combining scientific rigor with graphic experimentation. It begins as an animated graphic publication using the scanimation process, also known as animated moiré. Each page brings an engraved motif to life with a patterned overlay; the shapes move and shift slowly, turning the act of reading into active observation.

The edition continues with a series of interactive posters designed for public spaces. At first glance, the posters display deliberately unreadable patterned motifs. Using augmented reality, these shapes transform on screen into clear, legible, and animated motifs. The project aims to introduce the public to observation, image reading, and the concept of movement. The posters thus become triggers for curiosity, inviting viewers to see differently.
